ANY IDEAS ANY NEW MEMBERS HAVE FOR THE TARN WOULD BE VERY WELCOME. ALSO NEED AN IDEA OF INTEREST IN ORGANISING A COUPLE OF MATCHES IN SUMMER??

I would be interested in a match as long as the entry fee is not too much and its just for a bit of fun.I also think that it would be a good idea to number the pegs not just for the macth but so that when we have been up to the tarn fishing we can say how well we did or not by peg number rather than talking about the peg on the far side near the island for example.
I've been up a few times over the last few weeks and caught plenty of perch and roach from the far bank on maggot but on the hotter days the fishing dropped off around midday and beyond as well as when eels started to invade the swim.
Also watch out for the ticks-when i've been up therre in shorts i have come back with ticks attached to me ! there in shortsreryye

Good point bout the peg numbers ill get on to that. we are tryin to get a match sorted out which will only be for fun . it will be interesting to see how it fishes when all the pegs are full. cheers for the input...
